Kamuela (Big Island, Hawaii) Longevity Cleanse, Living Food Professional Lara Karakasevic
A longevity cleanse specialist and living food chef, Lara Karakasevic has held numerous leadership positions in the food services and wellness sectors. She is the former owner of a Napa Valley Juice Bar and was the youngest general manager in the history of the San Remo Hotel in San Francisco. While managing the hotel, Lara Karakasevic, who is also known as Lara Ann Castle, led several major projects, including the reopening and management of the historic hotel’s cafe.
Lara Ann Castle established the Living Food Mission in 2019 as a provider of longevity cleanse and wellness classes, among other educational services. As the education director, she teaches clients about the self-healing nature of the human body. Before moving the business to Kamuela, Hawaii, in 2025, she expanded her work at the Living Food Mission to include a partnership with the Boys and Girls Clubs in Northern California, which resulted in her leading role with the organization’s healthy habits program.
A member of the Mala’ai Culinary Garden, Lara Karakasevic holds a Level 2 advanced certification in regenerative detoxification from Port Charlotte, Florida’s International School of the Healing Arts. She is board-certified as a holistic health practitioner and completed an advanced-level living food cuisine program at the Pure Joy Culinary School. She also holds a hospitality management degree (cum laude) from the University of San Francisco.
